Feeding Guide It is better to introduce nutrient dense foods by mixing with your pet's usual food and increasing the amount of Flint River Ranch over several days. It will take time for your pet to adjust to the super premium quality. A sudden change in any food source may be a shock to your pet's digestive system. You may notice loose stool. If so, reduce the amount being fed until your pet adjusts. DOG
AND PUPPY FEEDING
It is advised that adult dogs be fed twice per day. Have plenty of fresh water available. Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog, and exercise activity. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight. Feed a puppy under 4 - 6 months of age at least 3 times daily. Feed a dog over 4 - 6 months of age twice per day.

Feed food dry as soon as the kittens teeth are strong enough to chew hard food (8-10 weeks). Feed kittens about three times a day; after six months of age twice a day. Adult cats (l year) can be fed once or twice a day...depending on what keeps your cat happy! The amount your cat eats in 15-20 minutes is about the amount they should be fed at that meal. Adjust the food as you notice an increase or decrease in the animal's weight. Dog Food Comparison:
*Suggested number of cups for a 45-55 lb. dog per day. When shopping for natural brands consider the VALUE of your purchase. You will get more for your dollar. Natural brands may seem higher in price at first glance...but look again. These foods are nutrient dense. You feed less than the cheaper commercial brands. The natural brands are actually cheaper per serving than the brands with less nutrition. |
